Deana Wallace

Women’s Health, Pelvic Health, Orthopedic Injuries, Balance & Fall Prevention, Vertigo & Vestibular Therapy, Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation

Bio

Deana received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from St. Ambrose University. While in school, she was selected for the All-American volleyball team and competed overseas representing Team USA. She earned her Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from Midwestern University in 2008.

Deana has practiced physical therapy in orthopedics and women’s health conditions for over 15 years. During her clinical experience, she recognized a largely underserved population in pelvic health – specifically in peripartum and postpartum individuals. Deana believes postpartum individuals ought to be treated just like performance athletes.

Deana emphasizes that pelvic health can be difficult to talk about, share with others, and seek treatment for. She prides herself on prioritizing the comfort and needs of her clients and fostering a welcoming space. She loves working with all orthopedic injuries and pelvic-related issues such as incontinence, pain with sexual activity, pre/postpartum care, constipation, and pelvic tension. Whatever her clients’ goals are, she aims to improve their quality of life.

Deana lives in Chicago with her husband, two children and lovable Goldendoodle. When she is not in a hockey rink with her two travel hockey players, she enjoys reading, concerts, and spending time with friends & family.
